Nordkalk’s QL products are high-quality quicklime, i.e., calcium oxide (CaO). Our products are suitable for many different industries: drinking water treatment, wastewater and flue gas purification, construction industry, pulp and paper industry, chemical industry, and special needs in mining and steel industries.
Quicklime is also used to produce slaked lime (Ca(OH)2) and Milk of Lime.

Handling and storage of quicklime require great caution as the material is highly reactive. If the product comes into contact with water, it reacts vigorously and releases heat while being converted to slaked lime.
