Nordkalk is a partner of the project “With us to the peak of the Holy Cross Mountains Crown” supporting the local seniors participating in sightseeing tours in the Świętokrzyskie region.
The Daredevils, a group of active senior citizens in our neighbourhood have decided to explore the charms of their neighborhood. They will attempt to reach the 28 highest peaks of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, and the prize is to be a special sign. Nordkalk has equipped the group with necessary equipment for their endeavours in the mountains.
The aim of the event “With us to the peak of the Holy Cross Mountains Crown” is to promote an active lifestyle, networking members of the Świętokrzyskie non-governmental organizations and advertising the region as a place for recreation and relaxation.
The Daredevils decided to go on tour for various reasons and theyrepresent different backgrounds. What they have in common is a shared passion for getting to know their region and the need for getting together and socialising, which is particularly important in this postpandemic period.
Meeting new people, socialising, admiring nature and improving the physical condition, lists one of the Daredevils the positives of the project. During the pandemic, we were often grounded.
Nordkalk is gladly a part of this project and we wish the Daredevils interesting trips and wonderful moments spent in good company.
