Nordkalk is participating in K2019 represented by two, despite their young age, experienced experts in their field, Juuso Hakala and Matti Lammela. The star of the show at Nordkalk’s stand is, however, not these two men, but the product they are taking to Düsseldorf with them.
What is Nordkalk taking to the K2019 this year, what products are in the starring role?
We will launch a product called Nordkalk Enrich P at the event. It is a new product for plastic and rubber applications. Together with Enrich P, we have with us our wollastonite product range . As a mineral with comprehensive uses, wollastonite is a popular raw material for several applications including e.g. plastics, paints and coatings.
What is it about Enrich P that makes it special?
Its unique dispersibility compared to the conventional ultrafine PCC. Enrich P creates better optical and mechanical properties.
What kind of companies should not miss the opportunity to learn more about Enrich P?

When did you decide to participate in the fair, and why K2019 in Düsseldorf?
We launched Nordkalk Enrich for paints and coatings last spring. The success of that launch and the interest the product has attracted since, convinced us that K2019 in Düsseldorf is where we want to be this October.
How do you prepare for an event like K2019?
There is plenty to do from preparing marketing materials to planning the stand to making brochures etc. And of course, reaching out to customers inviting them to come and visit us at our stand. We work closely together with our marketing team on all the visual stuff and materials, but still there is plenty for us to do too.
What kind of results do you expect from K2019?
Our main goal is to make large numbers of customer contacts and receive sample requests of Enrich P as well as of the W-series.
What will be your main message at K2019, why should one come and check your star product out?
The multi-functional product innovation Nordkalk Enrich creates value in various fields of applications while being cost effective. It is a sustainable solution for coping with more stringent environmental objectives and advancing sustainable development.
